Our Story
Howdy Amigas, Welcome to Amiga Amor.
At Amiga Amor, we create small-batch, one-of-a-kind cowgirl boots handcrafted with care in León, Mexico. Every pair is designed with intention, shaped by artistry, and made to celebrate the women who wear them.
Our founder, Paxton Pittman, grew up in Fort Worth, Texas - a true horse girl who slipped into her first pair of boots at age three and never looked back. After graduating from TCU, she spent time in Mexico, where she fell deeply in love with the country’s craftsmanship, culture, and especially its leatherwork. With her passion for design, she quickly realized something was missing in the cowgirl boot world: high-quality, fashion-forward boots that were comfortable, inclusive, and attainable.
Two years of searching, sketching, and countless prototypes later, Amiga Amor was born.
Every pair is made from full-grain calfskin leather sourced from one of the most sustainable tanneries in the world. We use soft, durable leather that molds beautifully to your foot, and we intentionally designed a wider calf for a more comfortable, inclusive fit. These boots aren’t just stylish - they’re made to be lived in.
Each style is named after a woman who has inspired Paxton along the way - best friends, mentors, and the women who shaped her life. Their stories live in every stitch, every step, and every pair.
We can’t wait to see where your Amiga Amor boots take you, and we hope they make you feel confident, connected, and completely yourself.
Xoxo,
The Amiga Amor Family
